Manchester band Horsebeach released their third album ‘Beauty and Sadness’ in March.  Their new release builds enchantingly from the previous ‘II’ and their acclaimed self-titled debut.

They are as if Real Estate relocated to Great Harwood and started writing songs about the rain – a perfect soundtrack to unsolvable mystery.’ Norman Records

With a clutch of songs based on the writing and composing of the band’s visionary Ryan Kennedy, the emotions of beauty and sadness are indeed encapsulated within the warm textures and lively percussion that bears the hallmark of the Horsebeach sound.

Overdue a debut set at Cloudspotting, we felt Horsebeach’s snug, intimate tones and jangling guitars would be perfectly suited to the Lawn Stage on Saturday afternoon.
